Three Octave Bass starting settings
Apply these settings for step 1. A, B and C are On. Keep Filter Off and add Saturator in step 3. Values for inactive modules are included for completeness.
Instrument global settings #
Use Operator in Live 12 Suite.
Set Operator to Voices 1, global Retrig Off, interpolation and antialias On. Center pan and keep both pan modulations at zero. A, B and C use Saw D with frequency quantization On and Fixed Off. D, Glide, LFO, Pitch Env and Shaper remain Off.
For the A, B and C amplitude envelopes, set End −∞ dB, Attack Slope 0%, Decay Slope 100% and Release Slope 100%. Keep envelope time/velocity scaling at 0%. These controls supplement the tables below.
The Fine settings use Operator's own units, not cents. Keep the −24 st transposition and 100% filter keyboard tracking together with the displayed cutoff.
